Marchenko
Oleksandr Serghijovych (26. 08. 1955, Lviv) - musician, bard,
literator, translator. Laureate of 4-th World Piece Festival
(1986). Graduated from Ternopil S. Krushelnycka music school (1973),
Lviv state
conservatoire (1980; today National Musical Academy)
with the specialization - musicology, symphonic bandmaster. Worked at Buchach music school, Ternopil and Kyiv philharmonics,
Kyiv state university (head of the author's song studio).
1992-98 -
taught history of Ukraine and Ternopil region,
world and Ukrainian culture studies, wrote lectures for
"Culture and religion" course at Ternopil commerce
institute and Secondary school N 4 (1989-92). As
author and singer
gave concerts in the cities of Austria, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy,
Poland, Russia, Middle Asia, Ukraine, Tunis, France (1986-2007).

where
for the first time in world cinematography Aleksander sang classical Neapolitan songs
in Italian and Ukrainian languages in the own translation.

Italy . His poetry was published in magazine "Ukraina" (1987), almanac "Kurin", in the
poetic collection "Dispiteous Torch " (literature mystification, co-author with
V. Kadenko; 2001),

"Vidlunnya Volyni" ("Echo of Volhynia", co-author of the
poems by a size in one line "Kyt'- kylyt' ";
